Healthcare Conferences UK in association with Christopher Fincken, 2013-2017 Chair of the UK Caldicott Guardian Council are pleased to announce the Fourth Annual Caldicott Guardian’s Birmingham Conference will take a more case study based approach and include a call for abstracts.

The event has been developed following feedback from previous years, the Annual London event and and also our smaller masterclasses led by Christopher Fincken.

Details of the two types of presentation are below:

Oral presentation:

Abstracts selected for oral presentation. Each presenter will be allocated between 10-25 minute session followed by question and answers in the most suitable sector of the conference programme. If your abstract is selected for an oral presentation, the senior author will be invited to present and will receive a 50% discount from the conference fee.  We are looking for experience based practical presentations based on case studies of your role or experience as a Caldicott Guardian.

Poster Display:

Poster presentations are visual displays of material, which will be displayed in the exhibition area throughout the conference. If your presentation is selected for a poster display, the senior author must be in attendance at the conference for the poster to be displayed. If your abstract is selected for poster presentation, the senior author will be invited to attend and will receive a 25% discount from the conference fee.

If your abstract is selected for either presentation, it will be included in the conference handbook.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday 5th May 2017 (we cannot accept any abstracts after this date).
