Being admitted to hospital in England at the weekend is risky, experts say.
Research company Dr Foster came to this conclusion after finding a "worrying" 10% spike in deaths compared with weekdays across 147 hospital trusts.

The Annual Nurse Clinics conference held last week in Manchester showed once again the difference nurses are making running clinics to improve patient care. Dr Wilma Scholte op Reimer focused on her experiences of developing a patient cardiology clinic in Amsterdam within a university setting that brings together patient care, education and research.
