Getting the NHS ready for the GDPR

This morning the Parliament Street research team has released a new report into the impact the incoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will have on the NHS: "Our insights have discovered that over £1million has been spent on software, staffing and services to prepare Trusts for the regulation."

Freedom of Information requests show that over £1 million has been spent by the NHS trusts on GDPR preparation to date, with the amount ranging from only £500 in some Trusts to over £100,000 in others.
