Spreading new care models

As the new care models programme begins its third year, people working across the programme, both nationally and locally have been exploring how they can ensure the success of the new care models are spread across health and care services.

Samantha Jones, director of the new care models programme recently shared her top tips for vanguards and others developing new models of care on how they might help do this.

This follows on from a successful event last month in which she, along with Professor Don Berwick and Professor Chris Ham, met with leaders from across the vanguards and sustainability and transformation plans (STPs) to address the challenges they face in spreading best practice.

During the event we asked some of the delegates to share their perspective on what the challenges are, and how they are being overcome.
