This conference organised by the Diabetic Kidney Disease Centre brings together internationally renowned speakers in the fields of diabetology, nephrology, cardiology and translational science to review current advances and address challenges ahead for diabetic kidney disease.

By the end of the course delegates will have gained:

  • Up to date knowledge on the recent advances in therapy areas, both medical and surgical for diabetes and kidney disease, with discussion on recent trial data and evolving evidence of cardiorenal metabolic protection.
  • Insight from in-depth case based discussions on difficult to manage patients with diabetes with significant co-morbidities
  • An introduction to the future of renal imaging for diabetic and CKD
  • Insight into the role of Diabetes in bone and liver disease

The conference will give you an opportunity to self assess and reflect on your own practice, network with colleagues and gain CPD points for contributing to your professional development and revalidation evidence.

Getting to the Venue

Situated on the east entrance of Regent's Park with easy access to central London.
By Rail
If you are arriving by train the nearest stations to the RCP are Euston (11 mins); Marylebone (20 mins); King's Cross and St Pancras International (25 mins). If you are travelling to the RCP via the underground, the nearest tube stations are Regent's Park (Bakerloo line; 4mins); Great Portland Street (Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines; 4mins); Warren Street (Victoria and Northern lines; 8mins).
By Car
The RCP is outside the congestion charge zone. There is limited car parking spaces available for members, fellows and disabled visitors, which are available to book in advance. On-street parking is available in Regent's Park and there is a pre-bookable car parking facility close to the venue.
