This 5th and final masterclass concentrates on systems thinking and engineering the links between Outpatients and diagnostics.  If we increase the activity in one part of the health and social care system, what happens to demand for services in another e.g. the links between out-patients and diagnostics? 

Key Learning Objectives:

  • where is the rate-limiting resource (constraint) in the out-patient and diagnostic service?
  • how can we increase and synchronise the activity in these two critical parts of the system?
