Quality Management Systems: Understand the principles and how to apply them

This Conference is now Closed

This masterclass, facilitated by Faisal Ahmed and Zohaib Paracha, will enable you to understand the principles of QMS and how to apply them within your organisation. It will teach delegates how to use Quality Management Systems to support an organisation’s Governance Structure and how to maximise the use of Quality Management Softwares and Tools in order to improve and monitor an organisation’s Governance.

Patient Safety is now ever at the forefront of a Healthcare Organisations agenda in driving a safe environment for patients, staff and general public. The core component of an organisation's structure is Governance which comprises of, for example, governance policies, quality improvement, quality management, clinical audit, incident management and reporting and risk management.

Each of these components plays a vital part in shaping of an organisation’s Governance Structure. However these components can be challenging to monitor and maintain good practice. QMS is the key to effectively and efficiently monitoring and managing a Governance structure. This masterclass will enable you to understand the process of implementing QMS in your Governance structure.

All staff and personnel involved in Quality Improvement initiatives in healthcare settings, staff and personnelinvolved in monitoring compliance and statutory and regulatory requirements, and staff involved in strategic Management in a Healthcare Setting should attend.
