The Clinical Audit for Improvement Summit 2019 in partnership with the National Quality Improvement (inc. Clinical Audit) Network (N-QI-CAN) will bring together clinicians and managers leading local Clinical Audit for Improvement. Through a series of national updates, panel sessions, practical case studies, extended sessions and poster presentations, this one day conference brings together an exceptional gathering of leading practitioners, clinicians, and policy makers to set out the major developments, promote innovative areas of clinical audit, and debate the key challenges affecting you and your clinical audit practice.

This summit focuses on clinical audit for improvement with a particular focus on the development of effective local clinical audit leading to audit recommendations that change practice and improve patient care.  Hot topic focus issues this year will be on Clinical Audit Leadership, ensuring completion of clinical audit, patient engagement in clinical audit and identification of clinical audit project.

The summit will also explore the question of developing local clinical audit: do we have the resources we need? With the aim of developing a consensus statement from local clinical audit staff.

The conference will enable you to:

  • Work with N-QI-CAN on a consensus statement aiming to change practice and influence national developments

  • Self assess, reflect and expand your skills in clinical audit practice
