Tony Gill’s Biography:
Dr. Tony Gill PhD, MSc, BSc, RMN, PGCE, graduated from Leeds University in 2013. Tony worked as a college Lecturer for ten years, prior to that he worked as a Charge Nurse in the acute sector. Tony is the managing director of Right Mind Training which specialises in mental health education and First Aid training.
Tony has extensive knowledge of mental health services and has also worked in caring for the older adult and the rehabilitation services. Tony has experience in PSI and CBT.
Tony has presented papers in Norway and published work including ‘The experience and consequences of people with mental health problems, the impact of stigma upon people with schizophrenia: a way forward’
Tony was a keen runner and now manages a successful Ladies football team. He enjoys fund raising money for Motor Neuron Disease and Breast Cancer Awareness and organises a fund raising 5k and fun run every year in Leeds.
