The Department of Health and Social Care: reports on children and young people's mental health

Children and young people's mental health: Reports from 3 organisations that were funded by DHSC to research people's views about the proposals in the green paper.

The Department of Health and Social Care funded Youth Access, Young Minds and the National Children’s Bureau to carry out a series of focus groups to further understand the views of young people, parents and carers, and professionals.

The research was carried out as part of the 13-week consultation ‘Transforming children and young people’s mental health provision: a green paper’, which ran from 4 December 2017 to 2 March 2018. This green paper sets out the ambition that children and young people who need help for their mental health are able to get it when they need it.
