It will raise your awareness of current risks and how to utilise a range of tools and audits to manage regulatory compliance and help mitigate exposure during Serious Case Reviews and/or Serious Adult Reviews.
The course content is based on current Safeguarding Legislation and Guidance (Children Act 1989, 2004, The Care Act 2014 and the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) as well as other regulatory requirements required by the Care Quality Commission. It matches the skills and knowledge required from the NHS Intercollegiate Documents for roles and competencies in Safeguarding for named professionals.

Key Learning Objectives
- Understand and commit to a safer culture of vigilance and a risk management culture i.e. Audits, Q&A of safeguarding concerns SCR’s and SAR’s duty to co-operate.
- To be able to prepare meaningful reports, timetables of staff training and policy reviews for your organisation and partnerships.
