Management Reporting & Practical Use of Data in Outpatients and diagnostics

Tuesday 5 Oct 2021

Real-time data about the flow through our services are key to reducing the waiting times for patients caused by the COVID-lock down.  How do we ensure that the data about the patient-flow through our Outpatient and Diagnostic services are correct?  How can we work with our data analysts to ensure that our service management reports truly reflect what is going on and allow us to plan the resource-time capacity needed to a) stabilise the waiting-times, and b) reduced them without swamping services elsewhere in the system?

Key Learning Objectives from this interactive session with many case examples, are:

  • how to recognise the ubiquitous data errors that underlie many NHS service management reports
  • how to specify the reporting window and the underlying data window correctly
  • how to recognise the diagnostic patterns in the resulting time series charts (Vitals Charts®)

Discount for attending all five half day Outpatient masterclasses: £195+ VAT per masterclass or, £750+VAT for all five.
