Clinical Leadership Masterclass

Leadership in the NHS is the responsibility of all staff. This one day introduction to Leadership will allow all medical and non-medical staff to learn about their personal leadership styles and how they can lead their teams. The day has been developed to provide both practical and appropriate leadership training to all staff. 

You will learn what kind of leader you are and what skills you can develop to improve your leadership style. You will explore how to avoid common mistakes that leaders make.

The course is facilitated by Perbinder Grewal - Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Governance Lead for the Wessex Vascular Network. He is a human factors and patient safety trainer. He leads on medical education both locally and nationally. He is a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has a passion for training and medical education. He is a Module Tutor for the ChM in Vascular Surgery for the University of Edinburgh and Tutor for the ChM in General Surgery for the past 5 years.

De Vere West One is located on Portland Street and is a 10 minute walk for Great Portland Street Underground station and a 5 minute walk from Oxford Circus
By Rail
De Vere West One is just a five minutes’ walk from Oxford Circus tube (Central, Victoria, and Bakerloo), Bond street (Jubilee) and a 10 minute walk from Great Portland Street tube (Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan) and Marylebone station.
By Road
Portland Place is just north of Oxford Circus. The nearest NCP car park is approximately 300 yards away. Follow the A4201 past De Vere West One taking the second left turning onto Weymouth Street, then take the second left onto Weymouth Mews.
