This comprehensive online Fundamentals of Clinical Audit Certificate course will provide you with a full understanding of the importance of clinical audit and how it is used. By undertaking the course learners will understand how to lead and conduct a clinical audit project relevant to care provided by themselves / their organisation.
The course commences by examining the rich history of clinical audit and examining why it is currently seen as an invaluable quality improvement and assurance tool. This e-Learning module has been created by Stephen Ashmore and Tracy Ruthven, Directors of the Clinical Audit Support Centre Ltd who have both worked in clinical audit since the mid-1990s and who are widely published in the subject. Stephen and Tracy have created and painstakingly tested this online resource to ensure it meets learners needs.

Learners who enrol on the course can access the materials at any time to suit them for up to 12 months. Learners can test their knowledge and understanding of clinical audit via integrated self-assessment quizzes. Each learner downloads a certificate of completion to demonstrate their learning and the course supports CPD professional development and acts as evidence for revalidation evidence.
