This conference focuses on Prehabilitation – Principles and Practice, and will provide a practical guide to delivering an effective prehabilitation programme, ensuring patients are fit for surgery or treatment. The conference will look at preoperative optimisation of patients fitness and wellbeing through exercise, nutrition and psychological support. The conference will use case studies from cancer treatment, and getting patients fit for surgery to explore the benefits in terms of outcomes and patient care.

There are two main line stations within walking distance of thestudio, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester VictoriaOur closest tram stop is Piccadilly Gardens.On leaving Piccadilly Station via ‘Piccadilly’ exit, turn right, walking down the ramp towards the City centre and Piccadilly Gardens. From Great Ancoats Street:From the Inner Ring Road (Great Ancoats Street) turn into Newton Street, take the 5th Right onto Hilton Street which becomes Stevenson Square. Turn right onto Lever Street. thestudio is located on your left after approximately 50 metres. Our entrance is at number 51 The Hive (the 3rd entrance on the left)
