A Joint Cavell & Healthcare Conferences UK Conference
We are pleased to announce this joint conference between the charity Cavell and Healthcare Conferences UK focusing on supporting international nurses and midwives. Internationally educated nurses and midwives are an integral and valued part of the NHS workforce. The event is designed to empower and equip healthcare professionals with essential tools, knowledge, and networks to support internationally qualified nurses and midwives to thrive in their roles and contribute effectively to patient care across diverse healthcare settings.
Following a welcome address from an international nurses and national updates from the NMC, NHS England, Cavell and the RCN the conference will include sessions and extended masterclasses on leadership development, developing an effective induction programme and developing practical and wellbeing support. A panel discussion will enable delegates to reflect on current challenges and how we can improve compassionate support. The conference will enable you to develop your line management skills, ensure the working environment provides a safe space for international nurses and midwives and provide practical advice for standing up to racism from staff and patients. The final session will explore supporting international nurses and midwives experiencing health, immigration, performance or fitness to practice concerns.
